Fine Molds 1/72 Jet Aircraft Series Israel F-4E Fighter Kurnass Plastic Model FX02
Following the establishment of Israel after World War II, the Middle East situation remained unstable. After the Third Middle East War in 1967, Israel could no longer receive military support from France, and the United States stepped in to provide assistance, sending 122 F-4E aircraft.
In 1973, the Fourth Middle East War (Yom Kippur War) broke out. At the beginning of the conflict, the Israeli military was overwhelmed by the Arab coalition forces, but the F-4E, named Kurnass (meaning Hammer in Hebrew), engaged in ground attack missions and contributed to the counteroffensive of ground troops.
During this war, the F-4E is said to have achieved a shoot-down record of 85 aircraft.
This is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting. Adhesives, tools, and paints are required separately.
