Authentic vintage 1980s Mobil Racing jacket with Statewide Oils embroidery on the back and Mobil 1 Racing patches on the front. This piece is from the same era as HDT (Holden Dealer Team) and features the HDT tag, verified against another less-faded jacket purchased at the same time (photo included for provenance).

• Size: Tagged [faded] but fits like a Men’s Large – approx. 56 cm pit-to-pit (112 cm chest), 67 cm length, 62 cm sleeve.

• Provenance: Purchased new in the 1980s by my friend’s parents, who had their names embroidered on the chest. Both this jacket and a matching one have been in storage since.

• Condition: Pre-owned, fair. The jacket has staining on the front that has not fully lifted despite multiple washes. The back embroidery is in excellent condition and is the standout feature. Ribbed cuffs and hem still intact with only minor wear.

• Details: Mobil logos and patches stitched, not printed. HDT tag confirms genuine period piece.

This jacket is highly collectible for Holden and Bathurst fans, petroliana collectors, and vintage motorsport enthusiasts. Rare to find in wearable condition.
