This is a previously-owned souvenir program from the musical “Mind with a Dirty Man.” Published in 1975, it contains information about the show, cast, and creative team. We are including a handful of newspaper articles and a photo taken at the show in the original envelope (see pictures). Of note, the program is autographed inside by actor Phil Ford.
"Mind with the Dirty Man" was a casino dinner show performed at the Union Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, starring Phil Ford, Jane Kean, and Marilyn Chambers (known for her role in the 1972 film “Behind the Green Door”). The comedy involves a man who returns to his hometown to open a pornographic enterprise, which is met with resistance from the conservative town council, led by his own father…
The late Phil Ford was an American vaudeville performer, musician, and comedian, whose career spanned over seven decades. Ford and his wife, Canadian-born singer and dancer Mimi Hines, appeared as guests on “Tonight Starring Jack Paar,” as well as the shows of Johnny Carson, Ed Sullivan, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin. They also appeared in one film together, “Saturday Night in Apple Valley,” in 1965.
