This is an original vintage 1958 Scouting magazine. They are old, fragile, and usually stored in less-than-perfect environments. Foxing, fading, discoloration, wear, are common and present to some degree. Also corner & edge damage, stains, creases, ripples, scuffs, smudges, soiling and other imperfections are normal. Pages may show pressure marks from production or years of storage.

Take note:  The cover page has very defined fading, as if something had laid diagonally across the center for years, causing a clean crisply defined difference in color.
