3D Paper Dodecahedron Paper Construction. This paper sculpture is made from black & white squares design card stock paper folded into a 3-dimensional 12-sided dodecahedron. The idea for the sculpture is derived from the many M.C. Escher images and sculptures/boxes. Escher would combine and/or alter various geometric shapes/forms to create boxes with intricate patterns. The dodecahedron or compound cube octahedron was a common design. The decorative is a decorative piece which can be used anywhere. The sculpture is solid, glued and intact.
