This is a set of two large antique African Tuareg tribal woman’s Tsabit earrings also called Tizabaten ethnic silver earrings which are decorated with some geometrical designs and which were collected from Mali, Africa. The Tuareg tribal members are traditionally a nomadic people who live throughout the Sahara desert. These ethnic silver Tuareg earrings are in great rustic condition with one earring have some design worn off the underside which is shown in the 5th photo. These Tuareg earrings are large for traditional American / European standards and would be for stretched ears only and are also very collectible and would be a perfect addition to any African tribal art collection. These earrings have different weights and measurements: one weighs 30.01 grams and measures 1.87 inches long by 2.08 inches across and the earring with more wear weighs 26.7 grams and measures 1.86 inches long by 2.10 inches across.
