These 2 Chinese watercolor on silk paper paintings depict 2 charming songbirds, one perched on rhododendrons and the other on magnolias and cherry blossoms.  The "bird and flower" is called HUANIAO HUA style in Chinese, representing the symbolism as well as the beauty of nature.  Each is 9 1/2" x 11 1/2".  These are both probably mid to later 20th century and still have the original tags on the back. The condition is good, there is a small stain to the silk outline above the goldfinch.  They are ready to frame!
