Description: Octavo, vii, 519 pages. In Good minus condition. Spine is paneled, brown leather with gilt inlay and lettering. Brown leather half binding with marbled paper boards. Boards show rubbing wear along edges and at fore corners, with exposed board at fore corners. Lighter rubbing/scuffing on covers. Scrape on leather half binding on rear board near base of spine. Chipping along head of spine. Spine and joints are entirely covered with a layer of transparent tape. Significant splitting at the joints/hinges, which is patched by the tape. Text block shows expected age toning; top edge is lightly dust soiled. Light foxing present on text block edges and on pages near endpapers. Shelved in Room A.
