The Caption Refers To The Plant Being "Across The River," Indicating Its Location Opposite Louisville, Kentucky, On The Ohio River. The Image Was Taken By Caufield & Shook During The Major Flood Event Of The Ohio River In 1937, With The Factory Grounds And Surrounding Area Fully Inundated.
