Being part of the "Opening Repertoire" series is a bit of a stretch---no repertoire is built here.  Instead the author has actually analyzed 74 games which are examples from all variations of the Slav.  Divided by sub-variation, long lines are unattributed, a few fragments along the way and plenty of text explanation.   Games are interrupted to pose study questions.    Figurine algebraic notation.    Index of variations and games.  448 pages

NOTE:   Five years earlier, the same author wrote a book on Black always playing ..c6 to any White opening, so covered the Slav and Caro-Kann in the same book.   The Slav section there quickly covers the major sub-variations, whereas in this edition (on offer) he concentrates on only mainline Slav variations with deeper lines.
