 -This Holy Qur'an, an outstanding example of the Naskh script, was written by Re'fet Kavukçu, a student of the late world-famous Master-Calligrapher, Hâmid al- Amidi, who saw the transition from the Ottoman period to that of the Turkish Republic. The gilding and decoration and the motifs on the binding are based on Isiamic-Turkish motifs of the 14th to 16th centuries, and were also execudet by Re'fet Kavukçu. Reproduction was canied out by Abdülkadir Özsoy.
