Naples
Napoli 1858 2 gr. rosa chiaro plate III imperf with a part of the wavy line from the bottom of the sheet Wmk, on very thin, semi-transparent, vertically striated paper.
There is an unrecorded double engraving, visible on the horse's tail and legs, on the "N" of "NAPOLI", on, above and right of the NE triangle, etc.
And this stamp is worth a huge premium on very thin, semi-transparent paper, the n°7d, with a basic catalogue value of €50 being under 7i, €300, with this paper variety, and the n°7e, carminio vivo, €90 for €600, according to my 2019 catalogue.
There are a diagonal fold, a fold and a surface flaw in the NW corner, wrinklings from removed cracky gum, cancel bends and postal abrasion marks.
Otherwise no thins nor tears.
