This is an early Fenton Uranium/Vaseline Glass bride's or centerpiece bowl. The custard bowl is rimmed with deep plum crimped edges that are tipped with gold leaf. The bowl is breathtaking under UV light. It measures 10 x 9 wide, 3 1/4" deep and weighs 1 lb. 3 oz. The interior is molded swags with hand painted blue flowers and gilded scrolls. The condition is very good, noting a tiny chip on top of one crimp that I almost missed because someone along the way applied a tiny dot of gold to it ([picture #11). I have tried to show the rough pontil in the last picture. This is an exquisite bowl and I have not found another just like it!
