Application:
Work for John Deere 4024, 4039, 4045, 4239, 4276, 6619, 6059, 6068, 6076, 6081, 6090, 6105, 6125, 6135, 7400 and 7600 Tractors. Suitable for engines with 129-tooth flywheel ring gear and a 29.9 mm (1.18 in.) flywheel housing guide bore diameter.
Direct Replacement:
Alternative to OEM JDG820, formerly JDE81-1. The JDG820 may be used if JDE81-1 is not available.
Function:
Used to rotate engine flywheel: To lock engine at "TDC" to check high pressure fuel pump timing. To check damper radial runout and piston protrusion. To check camshaft-to-crankshaft timing. JDG820 Flywheel Turning Tool must be used for 6.8L engines in 7400 and 7600 Tractors.
Easy Installation:
Slid the cover out and install the flywheel turning tool. Insert the timing pin (not includes) into the timing mark. Attached a socket to the turning Tool and turn the crankshaft wheel until the timing pin is engaged by the pin socket. This will ensure the engine is in the correct timing position.
