💡 About this Model

The U-BROS-5 was designed under the philosophy of Mr. Uesugi to handle the extremely delicate signal from MC cartridges with minimal degradation. The Type-H variant is intended for mid-to-high impedance MC cartridges, where dedicated transformers built into a phono stage are not always practical when switching cartridges. This unit allows flexible MC cartridge use through external step-up.

🔍 Cosmetic Condition

The chassis shows minor scratches and surface scuffs consistent with age and use. The hammertone paint finish on the two cylindrical transformer housings shows some visible deterioration. No major damage is present. Please refer to the photos for the most accurate visual representation.

⚙️ Important Disclosure: Modification

This unit has been modified with added PASS terminals, which provide a parallel output (input signal passed straight through to output). These PASS terminals are not connected to anything internally beyond the parallel tap. Buyers who are particular about originality or modifications should take this into consideration before purchasing.
