I have for sale a medal for the 1893 Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago, Illinois.  This medal was also a political campaign medal for President Grover Cleveland.  The medal is aluminum, 1 1/2 inch in diameter, (38mm) and in uncirculated condition.  The obverse in the center shows Grover Cleveland & Mrs. Cleveland with their daughter Ruth.  At the top rim it has the date NOV. 8, 1892, with an eagle below, holding a ribbon in its talons.  On the ribbon it reads OF THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE.  In large letters at the bottom rim, it reads, BABY RUTH.  The reverse at the rim reads THE WORLDS COLUMBIAN - SOUVENIR.  In the center it shows the bust of LINCOLN, WASHINGTON & GRANT with the years under the bust 1860 - 1776 - 1865.  Below the bust, it reads, AMERICAS TRINITY OF HEROES.  This medal is listed in the So Called Dollar catalog as HK241, the Eglit catalog as #80 and in the new Starlust catalog as ST-eg-80.  Please see over 950 more collectibles for sale in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables.  (19,638 DRE)
