The Cisco GLC-TE is a 1000BASE-T SFP transceiver module for Category 5 copper wire. It provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for distances up to 100 meters using RJ-45 interface. It is fully hot-swappable, MSA compliant, and supports a maximum data rate of 1 Gbps over standard copper cabling
