Why descale your pump?

At ‘The Spa Workshop’ we service and repair hundreds of bestway Lay-Z-Spa AirJet Pumps every month. The most common fault we see is E02, which is triggered by insufficient water flow through the pump. This restriction is often caused by the buildup of limescale within the heater and its associated debris

If you live in a hard water area, descaling your Lay-Z-Spa AirJet pump will improve the flow of water by removing these calcium deposits from the heater, circulation pump and flow sensor. Our service pack is supplied with three descaling tablets to help keep your pump running smoothly.

In effect our descaler is a mini hot tub, this enables you to test your pump away from your spa and to diagnose and resolve any faults from leaks, life expired components and error codes. It can also be utilized to overcome FreezeGuard initializing and causing an E02 when attempting to inflate your spa in cold weather.

If you have a deafeningly loud circulation pump or no water flow, it is likely that your impeller has failed. This pack contains everything you need to fully rebuild your circulation pump and to keep it healthy.

Maintenance Pack Three (AMP03)

If your PTC heater (aluminium block) is leaking, this is the kit for you! Over time limescale can build up within the heater causing the gaskets to fail. These subsequent leaks start as a drip and soon turn into a significant flow causing your spa to empty overnight. This pack contains everything you need to fully rebuild your PTC heater, including longer screws for a more secure fit and enough descaling tablets to blast away the limescale accumulated inside of it.
