The Curious Sofa

A Pornographic Work by Ogdred Weary

(By Edward Gorey)

Publisher: Ivan Obolensky, New York, 1961. Small format paperback, 15.5 cm, just over 6 inches, tall. Captioned a cartoons telling a naughty story, in which all of the 'pornography' happens out of the frame, and is left to the reader's imagination. Presented in the form of a privately-printed publication, such as was very common in the Edwardian era, complete with spurious limited edition information. Good condition with a rubbed binding and occasional light marks. Unpaginated. Cartoons printed on one side of the page only.
