This is “Rescuing Ivy,” by Karen Kulinski, a previously-owned softcover book published by High Hill Press in 2016. It’s in excellent shape and is autographed by the author inside.
Karen Kulinski is a children's book author known for her historical and animal-themed stories. Kulinski also wrote "The Cabooseman's Garden" and "The Medal With a Heart,” the latter of which tells the story of the Purple Heart military award. Of note, Kulinski is former Chicago elementary school teacher, the curator of the Griffith Historical Park & Museum in Northwest Indiana, and an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators.
