This is a complete, genuine USGI (United States Government Issue) Large ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) Field Pack Rucksack system, featuring the iconic LC-1 design in Olive Drab (OD) Green. This robust and battle-proven backpack system was the standard for the U.S. Military for decades, known for its rugged durability and ability to carry substantial loads.

This COMPLETE system includes:

• Large ALICE Field Pack Rucksack: The main pack body, offering a large capacity (approximately 3,800 cubic inches / 62 liters, or designed for loads up to 70 lbs). It features a spacious top-loading main compartment with a drawstring closure, and typically includes:
• Three large external bellowed pockets with adjustable buckle and snap closures for quick access.
• Three smaller upper external pockets with snap closures.
• An internal radio pocket and often a flat pocket under the top flap for maps or documents.
• Drainage grommets in the bottom of the main compartment and external pockets.
• Made from durable, water-resistant nylon duck material.
• ALICE Pack External Frame: A lightweight yet incredibly strong aluminum frame that serves as the backbone of the system. The frame is designed to transfer the pack's weight efficiently to the wearer's hips, improving comfort and stability, especially with heavy loads, and keeping the pack off the back for better airflow.
