Included are the following dated receipts: Geoffrey Davis Ltd. car rental receipts dated 6th and 9th January 1967 Hertford Service Station receipt dated 10th January 1967 Bridgton Garage, Cannock receipt dated 7th January 1967 Modern Electrics Retail London receipt dated 9th January 1967 Arosa Hotel, Manchester receipt dated 8th January 1967 Tintwistle Garage, Manchester receipt dated 8th January 1967 Harrison automobile engineers receipt dated 8th January 1969 Lex Garages, Wembley receipt dated 4th January 1967 Henleys Limited receipt dated 27th March 1967 Also included are another 12 various receipts for petrol stations and garages with no dates or dated in different years. Jimi Hendrix performed concerts in London, Manchester, Oldham, Nottingham, Sheffield and Norwich throughout January 1967. Provenance: previously sold as part of lot 544 in the Propstore sale held on the 14th November 2024. The lot consisted of a collection of paperwork from the office of Mike Jeffery, manager to Jimi Hendrix. The documents come from the collection of Patricia "Trixie" Sullivan, personal assistant to Mike Jeffery between 1966 and 1973. The largest receipt measures 18cm x 24.5cm (7 inches x 9.6 inches). There is wear and small creases to the corners of most of the receipts. The condition overall is very good. |
