NEW deluxe TKL larger size handle, constructed of padded vinyl over a steel core. Great quality for restoring your case! With vintage style steel plates --- Brass hardware with heavy brass axles will give long life to your case. For the Gibson Custom Shop Historic black case for Les Paul L5 es 335 175 Super 400, and others!
Handle comes with offset hardware and two rivet sizes.
This is a hard-to-find larger size padded handle that is correct for many of the 2000's black cases that came from the Custom Historic shop. In the case business, this is considered a 5 inch handle...a larger size than many earlier cases had. Measuring center of leg to center of leg is 5 inches. Comes with gold offset hardware just like came from the factory -- so it will mount correctly on the rounded bouts of the guitar case. Comes with two sizes of split leg rivets so you are assured a correct fit.
Two options for installation: 1. Use your pre-existing brackets and install the handle using the included axle pins. (Fits those types of brackets that have "spinning" rather than "fixed axles....send me a pic if you are unsure what you have).
2. If you need to use the included brackets: the offset mounting plates can be turned (reversed) a number of different ways to follow the unique curves of a form-fit guitar case. "OFFSET" hardware can fit a variety of hard-to-fit contours as found on guitar cases. Can be used on any application where you have difficult angles to work with. Comes unassembled with instructions.
