Please read the following carefully. Please also read the safety instructions before installing or using this product. Where this product is installed on a vehicle by a supplier or anyone other than the end purchaser, this warranty must be given to the end purchaser.
This warranty is issued to the end purchaser by Brembo N.V. (“Brembo”). This warranty applies only to products sold in the European Union.

Brembo warrants that the product is free from defects, with effect from the date of delivery of the goods to the end purchaser by an authorised seller. If the product is found to be defective, Brembo will replace the defective product with another Brembo product of the same or similar type, or, at Brembo’s discretion, refund the purchase price. The warranty period is twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery to the end purchaser.

This warranty does not cover any loss or damage caused, either partially or as a whole, by improper use of the product, alteration or modification of the product, accident, misuse or negligent use of the product, normal wear and tear of the product, installation and/or maintenance of the product that is not in compliance with the indications given by Brembo in the installation instructions or is otherwise improper or negligent, improper use of the product for purposes other than those specified in the instructions, accidents between vehicles, fire, chemical corrosion, improper use of a vehicle, illicit use of the product, use of the product on a vehicle model other than those for which it is intended, as specified in the instructions for use.

This warranty does not apply in the event of any claim arising from or relating to any reported reduction in or absence of personal comfort of the end purchaser, or their auxiliaries, if any, in the use of the product, or noise or vibration associated with the use of the product, or when difficult driving conditions exist. Brembo accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage caused by alterations or modifications made to the product after purchase. Any modification or alteration made to the product, other than proper installation in accordance with Brembo instructions, will invalidate this warranty.

This product has been designed and manufactured for use on specific vehicle models, as specified in the use and maintenance instructions and Brembo catalogue made available on the Brembo web site.

The product must be installed and used in full compliance with the applicable laws and the instructions provided by Brembo, and having first obtained any authorisation/approval, permit or licence required by the competent authorities.

This product must be installed by highly qualified professionals with the necessary technical skills and appropriate experience.

The product is designed for road driving only. It may not be used for competitive racing, competitions or off-road activities. This warranty does not apply if the product is installed on any vehicle or equipment used for racing, competitions or off-road or track activities. This warranty does not apply if the product is used on aeronautical/aviation, marine, agricultural or industrial installations. Brembo accepts no responsibility for damage deriving from incorrect use of the product or non-compliance with the maintenance and safety instructions.

This warranty does not cover any loss or liability for accidental or consequential damages caused by a breach of this warranty. No other warranty, either express or implied, is provided, except for the regulations governing the manufacturer’s liability for damage arising from a defective product and the seller’s legal warranty, which covers the consumer by law, free of charge, for defects of conformity vis-a-vis the seller, and which are not affected by the conventional warranty.

Brembo will replace any product found to be non-conforming under this warranty, or, at its sole discretion, refund the purchase price thereof, provided that the customer adheres to the claims procedure set out below:

• The customer must file a claim with Brembo, at the address provided below, within 30 days of discovering the defect or damage.
• The customer must specify the reason for the claim in writing and submit all relevant documentation, including copies of the original purchase receipt, repair orders, photos (where requested) and any other documents relating to the claim.
• The customer must send the product and documentation to the following address, at their own expense: Curno, via Brembo 25 – 24035 (BG), Italy

Brembo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refund the purchase price instead of offering a replacement product. Brembo has full discretion to determine whether a returned product meets the conditions of this warranty.

In the event of a claim for the repair of the vehicle or an item of equipment under this warranty, the customer must, within 30 days of discovering the defect or damage, submit a written claim to Brembo at the above address. The customer must also allow Brembo to examine the product, the vehicle and/or any item of equipment involved, to determine the extent of the damage, if any, and whether it was caused by a defective Brembo product. If possible, products must be returned to Brembo in their original, unmodified condition.

Irrespective of any indication to the contrary in this warranty, any claim under this warranty must be submitted to Brembo no later than 2 years and 30 days from the date of delivery of the product to the end purchaser. Otherwise, the claim shall be deemed null and void.

This warranty excludes any other warranty, either express or implied, except for the regulations governing the manufacturer’s liability for damage arising from a defective product and the seller’s legal warranty, which covers the consumer by law, free of charge, for defects of conformity vis-a-vis the seller, and which are not affected by the conventional warranty. BREMBO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, WITHOUT ANY LIMITATION WHATSOEVER, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

The foregoing constitutes Brembo’s entire and exclusive liability and the purchaser’s sole remedy for any damage or claim in connection with the sale of this product, and supersedes all other warranties, whether provided orally or in writing. Brembo accepts no responsibility, in any circumstances, for damage deriving from any defect in the product, except as expressly established in this warranty and without prejudice to the legal provisions governing manufacturer’s liability.

NO PERSON IS AUTHORISED TO OFFER ANY ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT OR TO AMEND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IN ANY WAY.

Nothing indicated in this warranty or otherwise communicated by Brembo relieves the operator of any motor vehicle from the obligation to drive safely, with due care and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Keep a safe distance from other vehicles at all times. Comply with speed limits, road signage and signals, and take account of the weather and road conditions.
