DW's ingenious MAG throw off

The DW MAG snare drum throw off is an absolute workhorse, with horizontal tension adjustment and smooth, easy-to-adjust action. And thanks to the magnet that's integrated into its body, this throw off won't release without a slight tug when its handle is in the up position. When the MAG throw off does release, however, it throws the strainer completely off the head to avoid strainer buzz. Many of the drummers here at Sweetwater laud the reliability and adjustability of the MAG throw off.
