Crafted by the renowned Sessions Clock Company, this vintage "Longfellow" mantle clock embodies the charm of antique decor. It features a classic black wood frame and a coordinating finish that accentuates its timeless appeal. The clock runs smoothly and comes complete with its original key, ensuring that it's ready to grace your space with its elegant presence.
Notable for its St. Michael's chime sequence, this piece is a testament to the craftsmanship of a bygone era. It is still mostly in the original
finish so shows the type of age and wear associated with a nearly
hundred and twenty year old clock. The unusual front ornaments were
likely only used on this model and only for a year or two. It also has
neatly designed swinging side handles.
It has a beautiful signed Sessions porcelain dial and solid brass
bezel assembly that, although aged, is in very good overall condition.
All in all this is an impressive looking clock that will fit nicely
in nearly any setting. It is a little larger, measures 19" wide at the
side handles x 10 ½" high x 6" deep and comes complete with the key and
the original pendulum. This clock is both a functional timepiece and a decorative artifact that captures the essence of the antique style. Its mantel design is perfect for creating a focal point on any shelf or
mantelpiece, while the brand's heritage adds an air of sophistication to
your home. N/S pet friendly home. Please visit my store for similar items. Thx for looking.
