Arturia AudioFuse X8 IN 8-channel Input Expander

8-in, 24-bit/96kHz ADAT Expansion Unit with Rack Ears, Assembly Kit, PSU, and Bundled Software

Expanded AudioFuse I/O, Tailored to Suit

With its AudioFuse 16Rig, Arturia delivered a next-gen studio recording experience, blending traditional interfacing with advanced DAW integration, malleable workflow-management tools, and highly versatile connectivity options. Now, Arturia has expanded the AudioFuse ecosystem with further capabilities to customize your creativity and level up your setup. The company’s AudioFuse X8 In and AudioFuse X8 Out units serve as powerful expansions to the AudioFuse 16Rig system. The X8 In and X8 Out extend your recording rig to feature eight dedicated connections for premier analog inputs and outputs, respectively, impressing Sweetwater’s studio scholars with state-of-the-art A/D and D/A converters, achieving up to a blazing 24-bit/96kHz sampling rate. The 1U-sized half-rack unit seamlessly integrates with your arrangement via high-fidelity ADAT ports, while optional rack ears are included for additional mounting flexibility. The AudioFuse X8 is the key to unlocking expanded, premium analog recording and unrivaled versatility.

Atmos-capable quality and formidable flexibility

Like the AudioFuse 16Rig, Arturia spared no effort in outfitting the AudioFuse X8 expanders with the cutting-edge tech needed to maintain audio processing at the highest fidelity. For the X8 In, AKM A/D converters shepherd your signal from 96kHz analog to your 16Rig, while Cirrus Logic D/A converters faithfully preserve digital audio as it exits the AudioFuse X8 Out. What’s more, the X8 Out can be used to achieve full Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 when utilized with an AudioFuse 16Rig, bringing multidimensional mixing and immersive sound design to virtually any studio setup.

Modular recording and seamless interfacing

Where the AudioFuse X8 In and X8 Out units excel in undergirding any robust recording arrangement is in their modularity, accommodating not just multitudes of asymmetrical I/O needs, but also delivering unrivaled fidelity sans the need for an additional recording interface. The streamlined navigation of the AudioFuse X8 In expander comprises Clock, Sync, and channel selection soft switches, while the X8 Out cuts to the chase with Word, ADAT SMUX, and ADAT Sync options. In both cases, onboard lighting provides vivid real-time visual feedback, in the form of a VU meter, ensuring precise monitoring throughout your session. With its modest form factor, each AudioFuse X8 unit can slot seamlessly into any half-rack space; plus, Arturia included a set of removable rack ears alongside an assembly kit to ensure quick installation.
