Charming, and unusual, vintage 1930s Art Deco, Kyoto Japan doll box/container. Most likely a souvenir from Japan. The boudoir doll face, detail makes the box really whimsical, and fun! It’s in used condition with flaws. Offering free USPS Ground Advantage shipping!

The doll’s face has some nylon type, material loss on her face. It appears the doll head is being held in place by a pin. There’s also some paper loss, on some of the side edges of the box. The lid is fully, functional, but the tape on the lid has some minor wear due to age, and use. One the inside lid of the box, contains a Kyoto Hotel Japan sticker on it. In the stripes there’s some minor age stains.

Also, please note, the Kyoto, Hotel sticker is pealing/curling slightly, due to age .The box measures 1” 3/8 tall. The lid measures 3” 5/8 inches long by 2” 3/8 wide. The depth of the box is approximately 1” 3/8 deep. The box also has some paper loss, aging and other wear in places.
