How to Season Your Kettle:
These kettles arrive unseasoned. To protect and improve its cooking surface, it's important to season your kettle first before initial use. Just follow these steps below.
- You will need cooking oil (animal or vegetable oil will work).
- Apply cooking oil on the inside of the kettle covering the entire surface.
- Then, fire it with high heat.
- Slowly, the color will turn black, giving you a pre-seasoned cooking surface.
