Jörg Reme (1941) has lived and worked for almost forty years in Amsterdam and Venice. Since the sixties Reme developed its own pictorial imagery hardly classify leaves within a certain art movement. These include a combined style of surreal, imaginative and yet recognizable images.

Jorg Remé studied from 1959-1964 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg with Professor Schmitt.  From 1962-1964,  Remé studied at the State Academy of Arts in Amsterdam with Professor Clénin.

His 1968 created amorphous "fictional character" is at the center of his artistic career.
