Product Description
AE 7-string model / electric acoustic

The AE model, which has a history of about 20 years since its predecessor, the AEL model, is a versatile stage acoustic electric guitar that combines a large body size with a bold cutaway and an advanced electric system.

Due to its characteristics, it has been held by a wide range of players, from finger players who use a lot of body taps to singers who mainly use strokes, and it can be said to be a model that truly symbolizes Ibanez acoustics.

Last year, the AE model was significantly updated in the body structure, and was reborn as a guitar that allows players to experience even more acoustic sound, and the series lineup was completely revamped. This year, 2025, the lineup will be further expanded and a 7-string model will be added.

- A.I.R. port that delivers sound directly to the player
The two resonating parts inside the body are designed to refract and reflect the waves of sound, and to efficiently resonate out of the port.

The A.I.R. port is designed to be directly under the player holding the guitar, allowing you to experience your own acoustic sound more strongly.

- Sitka spruce solid top, flame okoume sides & back
The standard Sitka spruce solid top is used for acoustic guitars. It is a versatile material that combines tight midrange, rich low range, and brilliant high range components.
Okoume with flame grain is used for the sides & back. It has a slightly soft wood texture, a bright tone, and is characterized by a rich mid-low range with a rich sense of volume.

- Original X-M bracing
This bracing, called X-M because the area of the tone bar connected from the X looks like an M, achieves a sound characterized by clear low range and crisp high range that won't get lost in a band ensemble.
The bracing is designed to provide a balanced tone and to increase the bass range compared to the previous AE series.

- Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp w/Onboard tuner
A simple 2-band EQ preamp with a tuner. (006P: Powered by 1 x 9V alkaline battery)

- Comfort grip neck, jumbo frets
A thin C-shaped neck and rounded edges on the fingerboard provide a comfort grip that provides excellent playability.

In addition, the jumbo frets, which can be pressed with less force, make fingering easier and support your playing.

- Rosewood fingerboard & bridge
