This is a true vintage toy- a 1978 Ronald McDonald Doll in the original box with all accessories.  Please  note that the box no longer has the film covering the window on the front of the box.  This is a highly collectible piece and is being sold as is.  Please look at all photos of both the doll and the box.  The box has the usual wear from being stored, and is not in mint condition, but in very good condition.  The doll as well can not be said to be mint, as signs of natural aging appears on some areas of the clothing.  Two strands of his red loop hair (red yarn) fell out of the loop, but could easily be looped once again.  When you put the whistle in his mouth and squeeze his tummy - the whistle blows!!!!!! You can blow the whistle too! The whistle label is all intact but not as clear as when new due to the aging process.  The purple grimace is pulled from his pocket with the original purple string.  You can zip his zipper, tie his big clown shoe laces besides pulling the grimace out and blowing the whistle. The box sides show The Apple Pie Tree, The Grimace, Ronald McDonald, Gobblins, The Bic Mac Police Officer, The Hamburglar, and a hamburger patch. This design is on both sides of the box. The back of th box is pain- not decorated, as the interior of the box.  He is great for a hug as he is soft and cuddly.
