Children can partake in the beautiful traditional act of “lighting a candle” during their prayer time with our beautiful wooden prayer candles. The light of the candle is a symbol of our prayer, offered to God in faith.

This simple and beautiful act, invites children to pause and direct their attention towards the Lord. Like adults, the physical act of lighting a candle reminds them that their prayers are real and are heard by God. Our Montessori-inspired candles allow for hands on interaction, cultivate imagination and require no dangerous electricity or batteries.

Children love “lighting” the solid wood toy candle with the included wooden flame disc- then taking it out and doing it again! Whether on a bedside table, shelf, or family altar- these candles are a beautiful call to prayer for children of all ages.

Each candle is printed with beautiful religious artwork on the front, and a corresponding traditional Catholic prayer on the back. Candle without flame disc measures 6 inches tall.

God lovingly gives us each a heavenly companion for our journeys here on Earth, a guardian angel to be with us always. Our Angel is holding a cross and rosary, reminders of Jesus and His Blessed Mother.

A favorite of European toy manufacturers, our new wood sets are crafted using highly sustainable solid rubberwood from Forest Stewardship Council certified sources, and non-toxic water based paint.

 Rubberwood is a highly sustainable and beautiful hardwood.  Trees that have finished producing latex on rubber tree farms are cut down to make room for new trees to be planted.  Instead of wasting this beautiful wood, it is used to create a variety of home goods and toys! We've very intentionally selected rubberwood for this reason, to avoid deforestation and ensure our wooden toys are truly environmentally friendly.
