Up for your consideration is an original drawing that I have done, based on the wonderful and magical animated series 'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic'. Like so many others, I have fallen in love with this show and am a long-time fan of MLP from it's beginning in the 1980s. I have worked with Prismacolor Art Pencils since I was a child and have always loved drawing animated characters. I have worked hard to get my pictures accurate to the colors, proportions and spirit of the show. This is drawn on high quality, acid-free Bristol art paper. The quality of the Prismacolor pencils are truly the best - as they are highly saturated, vibrant and resist fade over the years. I have drawings from many years ago that look just as good today because of the wonderful quality of these materials.
This picture comes from the final shot of the Mane 6 in the epic Season 4 finale - after overcoming a seriously menacting villian and unlocking the mystery box with their friendship keys, all the ponies and Spike gather for a group photo in Princess Twilight's brand new castle in Ponyville. I call this piece 'Let The Rainbow Remind You' - the name of the song they sing during the end of the episode.
