For your consideration, we are offering for sale this 2004 Delta Alfa Romeo Limited Edition 239 of 954 Fountain Pen - The Giulietta Sprint 50th Anniversary Edition fitted with an 18K medium nib. This fountain pen is in mint condition, never inked, with the original box and documentation/literature.

Fifty years ago, when this pen was first introduced, Alfa Romeo had just released one of its most iconic and sought-after cars: the Giulietta Sprint. In celebration of that legacy, Alfa Romeo partnered with Delta to create a writing instrument designed especially for Alfa enthusiasts and collectors around the world.

The Giulietta 50 Fountain Pen is a tribute to Alfa Romeo—born out of admiration for the legendary automobile and the passionate community that surrounds it. With a sporty elegance and a commitment to craftsmanship, this limited-edition pen is made from solid, hand-turned resin in “Azzurro Capri,” the original color of the first Giulietta Sprint, and accented with solid burnished sterling silver.

Each Giulietta 50 bears the name Giulietta Sprint inlaid in sterling silver in the center of the barrel, which is marked with 925. The clip is hand sculptured, treated, and polished to create one of the most innovative and creative clips in history, to resemble the grill work on the original automobile. There are no scratches, chips, cracks, or repairs to the pen. The barrel is stamped with, "Delta Italy with the Delta Logo Special Limited Edition and 50 Giulietta". The blind cap has the Limited Edition number engraved, "229/954". The fountain pen measures 5 1/2" inches capped and 6 1/4" inches posted - the cap will thread onto the blind cap to secure when posted.

This Delta uses a piston filling system to capture ink in the barrel. The piston filler works as designed in my tests with water. 

The nib on this fountain pen is marked with, "ALFA ROMEO MILIANO and 18K/750". This nib has a medium point measuring .86mm when using digital calipers. I have not ink tested this fountain pen as to make sure this fountain pen is in absolutely in MINT condition for the new owner.

This is a truly unique fountain pen that would be a wonderful addition to any collection, especially for an Alfa Romeo enthusiast. The pen is ready to write with or simply just to add to your writing arsenal.

These are antiques so expect them not to be "perfect".

Refunds: Item must be returned within 14 days of receiving it. The item cost will be refunded. (Buyer pays all shipping and insurance). Item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation.
