1939 FORD DUAL WHEEL PICKUP

Ford manufactured a variety of work trucks in 1939, from the light-duty Fpickup pickup to the twin-motor cab-over tractor. The Model 91T, as pictured, was a chassis designation which could be equipped with either single-rear wheels or optional dual-rear wheels. The truck was rated at 1.5 ton and sat

on a 134-inch chassis. Powered by an 85-hp V-8 and a 4-speed transmission, the truck featured, for the first time, hydraulic brakes. Options included appropriate fenders and running boards, auxiliary springs and a rear bumper. Gone for 1939 were front bumper guards.
