MRM1802

Encompassing an average friction of 0.43 µ MRM1802 offers the controllability and positive feel of M1155 while the new thermal underlayer increases high temperature performance and longevity. MRM1802 is also Eco friendly to Euro 4 standard, with no copper or other rare earth resources. It also takes less energy to manufacture. 

Typical applications include:

• Pure track day cars utilising OEM brake calipers

• Small to medium weight race cars

• Loose surface rally

• Low grip historic vehicles

• Lightweight single seaters

• Hillclimb and sprints

• Off Road vehicles

• Drifting

• Karting


BEDDING IN PROCEDURE

Step 1; Once the new pads are fitted and before moving the vehicle, ensure the brake pedal is actuated to remove any excessive pad disc clearance.

Step 2; On a clear section of road without endangering other users perform ten medium pressure brake applications from a speed of 60-20mph. Between each snub a time interval of ~40 secs should be maintained.

Step 3; After the tenth stop the brakes should be allowed to cool before commencing further driving.


The above procedure is only effective when replacing new pads and new discs, if retained (worn) discs are utilised the procedure will require extending by an undeterminable number of brake applications.

NEVER drag the brakes or try driving the vehicle with the brake pedal actuated, as this will adversely impair the performance of the friction material.
