This is a very pretty bon-bon dish, handed down through the maternal side of my family.

I know it belonged to my great-grandmother (I am 63), so it is  old.

The base is silver, blackened, so it will need a clean.

It weighs 225g.

I can not see any hallmarks or maker's mark.

She travelled a great deal, so it may be from overseas.

There are 2 pressed glass dishes that sit in their cradles.

They have domed  and frosted bases.

There is a pretty pressed glass border to each, and each has  a raised matching number : Rd 189344.

The edge of one of the dishes or trays has

a small chip.

With the addition of the trays, it weighs 661g.

The silver  cradle has 4 lion paw feet with splayed detail.

It has a sturdy carrying handle.

* PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS *

I am selling ahead of an eventual downsize.

I do not have anyone to pass it on to.

From a pet and smoke-free home.

I shall post Royal Mail tracked 24.

Thank you for looking.
