The unit itself is in mint condition physically and does not have any signs of wear. It may have never been used, but I cannot say that for certain.

There is no model number on the unit, which makes identifying it a little bit hard.

On the box it has writing in Chinese, which translates to "Gigabit DWDM EDFA 32-Channel Optical Amplification Module"

Also, this sale includes a little PCB, which I am not sure goes with this EDFA. However, the board's model number is "EDFA-C-EVA1", and appears to be for processing data from an EDFA.
