This vintage Persian carving features an intricately carved warrior on horse. The carving is made out of camel bone and is displayed in a wooden Khatam inlaid frame. Handmade.

The carving is in excellent condition. It is attached to velvet inside the 6 in. x 5 in. frame. The frame shows signs of its age, see photos. One corner of frame is slightly chipped (see photo with my finger pointing to the corner), but there is no other damage.

PROVENANCE:

This was purchased in Afghanistan by my parents while they lived there between 1969-1971.
