    The role of CV Axle

    They are used to transfer power from the vehicle's transmission and differential to the wheels to propel the vehicle forward. They feature lubricated, flexible joints that allow the shaft to flex according to road conditions with minimal impact on power transmission. The joints are grease lubricated and covered with rubber boots to protect them from dust and dirt.

     

    How to change CV Axle ?

    Step1. First, make sure you have purchased a driveshaft that matches your car model.

     

    Step2. Before starting, make sure your car's engine has cooled down and stopped running. Also, make sure your work area is tidy, spacious, and well-ventilated.

     

    Step3. Raise the car high enough off the ground so that you can easily access where the driveshaft is. This can be done by using a jack or car lift.

     

    Step4. Locate where the driveshaft is located, usually in the middle of the bottom of the car. It may have a protective cover that needs to be removed to access the driveshaft.

     

    Step5. Use a suitable tool (such as a wrench) to loosen the bolt or nut on the driveshaft and carefully remove the old driveshaft from the car.

     

    Step6. Clean the driveshaft socket and bearing housing to make sure no oil or other debris remains.

     

    Step7. Slide the new driveshaft into the socket on the underside of the car until it reaches the proper mounting position. Be careful not to push it in forcefully to avoid damaging the drive shaft or car parts.

     

    Step8. Use a wrench to tighten the bolt or nut on the drive shaft until it is fully seated.

     

    Step9. Check that the drive shaft is installed correctly and that it shows no signs of looseness or damage.

     

    Step10. Lower the vehicle back to the ground and perform a test drive to ensure the driveshaft is functioning properly. If there are any problems, please make adjustments in time.
