This vintage midcentury modern Maple Leaf Harvest Raised Relief Glazed Pottery Pitcher has very intricate details which include, a code of arms on one side, right the center there are two male and female silhouettes, a harvest scene which includes a stalk of wheat, wagon and farming tools, all surrounded by maple leaves, vines, grapes, and acorns. This pitcher is highly decorated and is truly quite intriguing, definitely a conversation piece with all of its details. And based on the partially readable sticker, it appears to have been imported from London, England back in the 1950's.
This wonderful pitcher measures about 7.5" inches tall, has a fluted top rim and again extremely and intricately decorated. This is a rare and hard to find midcentury modern piece.
