This console can play Japanese and American cartridges with the shape shown in the photo (11th Photo)
Condition : Very Good - Refurbished
The AV cable is a compatible replacement. The console, controller, power cable, and cartridges will all be genuine original products.
This console is designed for the Japanese market and operates on a standard voltage of 100V. Depending on your country, a voltage converter may be required. Please take caution.
Please note: This is a Japanese Nintendo 64 (NTSC-J).
While NTSC-J is similar to NTSC used in the US/Canada, some TVs and capture devices—especially newer or very old models—may not display the video correctly due to signal compatibility differences.
Based on our experience, TVs manufactured between 2010 and 2018 tend to have better compatibility with Japanese N64 consoles.
For the most reliable experience, we strongly recommend using a mid-range or higher-quality HDMI converter that explicitly supports NTSC-J.
Please note that this console does not support PAL cartridges.
PAL cartridges were mainly distributed in Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia and Africa.
If you are located in a PAL region—such as Spain, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, or Australia—the cartridges commonly sold in your area may not be compatible with this console.
This console is designed for NTSC cartridges only, which were released in Japan and North America.
So please make sure you are using compatible NTSC games.
Please Note:
The following U.S. cartridges may not work on this console due to region lock issues:
Banjo-Tooie
Banjo-Kazooie (Some reports say it works, but it can be unstable)
Perfect Dark (Requires Expansion Pak and may need a modded CIC chip)
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Jet Force Gemini
Mickey’s Speedway USA (by Rare)
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion
Resident Evil 2 (Region lock + large ROM size issues)
If you plan to play any of these titles, please be aware of possible compatibility problems.
Thank you for your understanding!
