Six simple steps for perfect results:

1.  Apply to a clean white or light coloured surface to make the image pop.

2.  Apply a decoupage medium such as Mod Podge.  I prefer a foam applicator to avoid brush marks, but Mod Podge makes brushes.

3.  Tear around the image then place on the medium.

4   Use scrunched up Saran Wrap to smooth out any wrinkles.

5.  Once satisfied with the look apply another layer of decoupage medium over the top and leave to dry.  This can take up to 3 hours.

6.  Once completely dry you can apply a second coat of decoupage medium or a coat of varnish if you wish.
