Kicker Woofer KICKER S12C Solo Baric SVC 600w 4 ohm unit only. This is a rare S12C of the first generation Kicker round Solo Baric. The succeeding square Solo Baric has too much power and the box must be built very sturdy to get a good sound, but the round Solo is easy to use. While the number of S12d solos is overwhelmingly large, S12C solos of such a high quality are very difficult to find. I remember comparing S12C and S12d at the store at the time, and although S12d had a good sound, I felt that S12C had a better sound with a core bass, and I was eager to find a 12C. The sound is unquestionably great, and it sounds best when played through a sturdy shielded box of about 25 liters. 16cm to 17cm door midbasses are the best match. In my experience, it sounded best with a 36mm thick unreinforced box made of two pieces of 18mm MDF, rather than a box made by an audio store with a lot of 18mm MDF reinforcement.
