The book measures approx, 21.5cm by 14cm and contains approximately XXIII, 463 Marble edged pages with an additional eight page publishers catalogue at the rear.

Highly regarded for its accurate subject matter. The military campaign in Spain and for its detailed accounts of the towns and cities mentioned in the text.
A rare publication.

Collated and complete.
The book has been professionally rebound sometime in the early 20th century.
The text block is tightly bound with the original and later endpapers.
The pages have age toning and the occasional spot of foxing. The title page has a small and neat name and date at the top.

The quarter leather bindings are very good and solid with no splitting or flaking.
There is some marking/staining to the leather at the sides.

Please take a look at the photos as they form part of the description.

Whilst I try to list all the negative and positive aspects of an item in my listings it remains possible that some small aspect may be missed. You would be well advised to remember that unless I list something as mint it will be a used and/or antique item which may have the marks of day to day existence upon it, for example: the odd mark here and there, slight fading etc.
