Scarce Tsar Nicholas I era "masonic eagle" type Rouble struck in St. Petersburg in 1831. Circulated specimen but this type is hard-to-find in decent grades nowadays. About 36 mm in diameter, inscription on the rim; attractive dark-gray with goldish overtones patina.
