    We have published three versions of this detailed map, which covers most of Levenshulme, south of Manchester, and smaller areas of Rusholme, Longsight and Gorton. Coverage stretches from Slade Lane eastward to Houldsworth Street, and from Crowcroft Park southward to Broom Lane End.

    Features include a stretch of the GCR railway with Levenshulme station, a stretch of the LNWR main line with Levenshulme station, Rushford Park, Atlas Tool Works, Back Levenshulme, St Agnes church, Slade Hall, Coston Park, Alma Park, Levenshulme Bleach Works, Levenshulme Print Works, Albert Mill, Print Works Farm, etc. A small section of the Stockport Branch canal is in the SE corner, with cotton mill and chemical works.

    We include selected extracts from contemporary street directories on the reverse of each map, together with specially written introductions to the history of the area.
