VG+ / VG - VG+.  1941 Knopf, stated first edition.  Hardcover with dust jacket.  For my money, the Freddy The Pig series is the greatest collection of children’s fiction ever written.  Walter R. Brooks cranked out 26 novels over a 28 year period (1930 - 1958).  And whether you read the entire collection, or just one individual title, they are simply delightful.  ‘Freddy and the Ignormous’ was the 8th book in the series, and was released in 1941.  Because of their target audience, Freddy books were either mangled by kids or mangled by library lending services (both worthy entities, so no complaint from me).  Finding a copy that evaded said mangling is nearly impossible…yet here is an example.
