These stunning plates are by Youen, a famous artist who worked for Quimper between 1950-1970. The plates feature a black background with hand painted fish swimming in coral. The plates are signed by the artist "Youen Piece Unique" on the back.
The plates measure approximately 9-1/8" across. They have holes in the back for wire so you can hang them from the wall (one of the plates has the original wire).
The pieces are in excellent vintage condition. There are no cracks or chips. The plates do have small surface scratches. Please review the photos carefully so you are confident in your purchase.
